St Johns reserves lost their ACPRFC clash with Longstone on Sunday. Played in near perfect conditions, St Johns greater workrate meant that they went in at the break leading 0-5 to 0-4.

The sides were level with 10 minutes remaining at 0-9 apiece but Longstone then scored a crucial goal to put 3 between the teams. Despite their best efforts the Johnnies couldnt get the scores they needed and Longstone tagged on another 2 points to give the hosts a 5 point victory which flattered the hosts.

Again this was another great effort by the reserves but they couldnt hold on to the lead they held in the later stages of the match.

Unfortunately the Johnnies only had 15 players to choose from and had their been subs at hand, this may have swung the game in the Johnnies favour.
