UTV LIve Filming At Pairc Naomh Eoin

A camera crew from UTV LIve were filming at Pairc Naomh Eoin on Wednesday afternoon to preview the Clann uí Fhlanagáin charity match which is being held at St Johns on Saturday 10th March and will feature a game between Clan Flanagan and an East Down Select Team as well as entertainment in the clubrooms afterwards.  See News section above for further details.

Juvenile Registration On 11th March

The club will be hosting a juvenile registration day on Sunday 11th March from 12 noon to 2.00pm in the clubrooms.

Johnny Brooks, the Garth Brooks tribute band will play in St Johns on Saturday the 25th doors will open at 9pm everyone is welcome and definitely should be a good nights entertainment after the last time he was present at Christmas.

 

St Johns Seniors start their 2012 Division 3 campaign away to St John Bosco in Newry on Sunday 25th March followed by a home game against Darragh Cross 7 days later.

Senior Presentation night will be held in the club on the 3rd of March more information will provided next week on the website.

 

The following activities are currently taking place in St. John's Club:

Under 14 boys training in the club every Monday night 7pm to 8pm cost £1.50

 

Juvenile indoor activities every Thursday night 6.30pm to 7.30pm in the club Under 10s, 8s & 6s from Primary 1 & above cost £1.50 each.

 

Under 16 & 18 boys training in the club every Thursday night 7.30pm to 8.30pm cost £1.50.

 

Under 14 girls training in the club every Friday night 7.30pm to 8.30pm cost £1.50.
 

If you are in any of these age groups and would like to join in the activities, please feel free to come along.

There are some club jerseys with numbers which have went missing if anyone has them could they please return them to Pep Keenan.

St Johns Committee and members would like to wish Grannia McCann and Annita Murphy good luck in their journey to Australia; they will be having their leaving party on Saturday evening in the Clubrooms at the Jonny Brooks show so everyone come along.
 
Henry O’Hare’s months mind mass will take place on Friday evening at Clanvaraghan mass at the normal time. Everyone is welcomed back by the family to St Johns club for tea after the mass has finished.

Camp Jmac Expands In 2012

CAMP JMAC IS EXPANDING TO SOUTH DOWN!
 
We will be running Camp Jmac twice this summer, in east and south Down.
 
Camp Jmac will be held in Mayobridge GAC from the 2nd to the 6th of July and St Johns GAC from the 13th to the 17th of August. More info to follow.
 

Senior Presentation Night On 3rd March

St Johns will hold their annual senior presentation night in the club on Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm.
 
Tickets cost £10 and may be purchased from this weekend from Jennifer Savage (07775 730 326) or Danny O'Boyle (07881 521 881).  This will include a hot supper and entertainment by The Whole Hog.
 
All tickets to be purchased by Wednesday 29th February.
